PV DEsign and TroubleshootingThe persons attending this class will be a strong and essential part of a successful team.  This 25 hour class is designed to teach the attendees energy efficiency and everything needed to design the optimal solar PV system for their customers.

  • Site Survey Equipment and operation

  • Roofing / Solar Racking

  • Electrical Inspection

  • Energy Efficiency and how the customer can lower their monthly bill.

  • Mechanical Design of Photovoltaics Systems

  • Electrical Design of Photovoltaics Systems.

  • Advanced System Sizing

  • Basic Photovoltaics Installation

  • System equipment recommend.

  • Time lines for installation.

  • Tools needed to provide the customer a bid and the distributor a purchase order.

  $600.00

This class may be repeated within 6 months from initial attendance at a reduced tuition if the student feels they need to review (with AREA staff approval).  The revisit approval will be based on class size.
