PV 100   Introduction to Solar Electric Systems

This is a two day class is for those wishing to understand Solar Electric.  This is an excellent class for:
  • A home owener wanting to  ensure they understand Solar Electric and know what to look for in a quality contractor.
  • An adminstrative person wishing to enter the "green" workforce.
  • An Executive in a solar focus company who many not be involved in day-to-day mechanices of installations.
  • Someone wanting to review the basics of solar installation.
Day One Topics:
  • Basics of Solar Theory
  • Terminology particluar to the solar inductry
  • The nuts and bolts of solar components
  • What would you expect to see as you go through a Solar Sell and Installation?
Day Two Topics:
  • Determine financial payoff
  • Ideal system size of a PV system in different situations
This class is primarily a lecture format.  Tools and components will be available for recognition.

If you have a stronger interest in PV, we recommend the 5 day intensive PV 200 class.  The PV 200 class is taught in tandem with ADVEN and is an ISPQ Certified NABCEP approved Class.
